LetsIgnite 2019 – An Overview
LetsVenture is back with the 6th edition of its annual flagship event— LetsIgnite where we provide a compelling platform for shortlisted startup founders to engage with Angel Investors, VCs, HNIs, Corporate leaders and Industry Experts, availing an opportunity to pitch in front of marquee investors, get value-added feedback, find a lead, raise funds, build customer connects and network.
Last year, the conference was attended by 170+ Investors and Institutions and had 17 startup pitches from sectors like Robotics, Space Technology, Nanotech, Healthcare and Content (Vernacular). It is worth mentioning that 90% of startups that pitched at LetsIgnite have closed their rounds within the next 3 months.
This year we will be selecting 18 startups (5 from Healthcare, 5 from Fin-Tech and 8 from other sectors) to pitch at the following sessions.
Start up pitches
8 sector-agnostic startups will get to pitch in front of recognized jury members such as Lathika Pai (Country Head, Microsoft for Startups) and Sanket Atal (Managing Director, Intuit India)
Healthcare Roundtable
Pitches from 5 Healthcare startups will be complemented with a round-table discussion on the “Health Stack— a set of digital platforms developed as public goods” which is a highly emerging sector in the startup ecosystem. The founders can also network with prolific personalities leading the way in cutting-edge healthcare and establish future collaborations. The Healthcare round table is being led by industry stalwarts Sharad Sharma (Co-founder, iSPIRT) and Dr. Santanu Chattopadhyay (Founder, Nationwide Primary Healthcare Services).
FinTech Roundtable
Pitches from 5 FinTech startups will be followed by a discussion on the “Changing Landscape of Fintech in Asia”. As the startup ecosystem is experiencing a rapid growth in collaboration with banks, supported by a large market base. We must, therefore, need to acknowledge and encourage dialogues within the finance industry and provide significant value to a range of stakeholders. This will showcase a report on the HongKong fin-tech ecosystem by Karena Belin (COO of AngelHub – HongKong’s first licensed startup investment platform).

sumHR, LetsIgnite, 2017
LetsIgnite was an amazing experience for me. It not only gave us a great platform to showcase sumHR to potential investors but also network with the who’s who of the startup eco-system – from thought leaders to mentors, from aspiring entrepreneurs to successful startup CEOs.
