We have received a lot of feedback from sumHR users about the Leave Policy feature. We do agree that managing leaves is important as it is directly related to employee happiness, and even payroll. As labor laws in India are quite complex, we decided to first do an in-depth research on the various leave policies in place in Indian companies and then put on our thinking caps. In all, we researched over 20 types of different leave policies present in India before enhancing the Leave Policy feature in sumHR. We have now developed and included a host of flexibilities to customize leave policies extensively. Leave Policies such as Prorated, Accrual, Half Day, Unused Leaves Carryover, Intervening Holidays, Applying for Previous Dates, Clubbing with others, and Over Utilization have been added. Do let us know what you think about the new Leave Policy enhancements in sumHR.
