Hello User,
Our hosting service providers are enforcing mandatory server upgrades at their end to upgrade their security measures. They are migrating sumHR servers (and others) to even more secured servers during these scheduled downtimes.
Unfortunately, since this is an immediate and high-priority task for our service provider, we are also unable to give enough advance notice to you, like we normally do. This time, 12-24 hours is the maximum advance notice we receive and hence translates to you as well.
Don’t worry, it’s nothing serious but definitely something necessary for us to carry out without any delays.
This operation will be carried out across the next few weeks, in multiple planned downtimes on different days.
Downtime is scheduled for:
17th Jan 2018 between 10 AM and 3 PM.19th Jan 2018 between 9 AM and 10:30 AM, also between 1 PM to 4 PM.
We are really sorry for this inconvenience, but an assurance of security is our top priority. This will help us move to fully upgraded servers and mitigate any hardware vulnerabilities.
What can you expect from us?
Apart from the above-mentioned schedule, we will also inform you of further downtime notices, at least 12-24 hours prior to the actual temporary shutdown. Your AMs will keep you informed in case you miss our emails :).
What do you need to do during this time?
We request you to please bear with us till we get through the upgrades successfully and kindly inform your employees too so that they don’t flood you/us with questions. Also, please do not panic/worry and plan your tasks keeping this downtime in mind:
- Keep updating your daily activities when the system is online.
- Web login and Mobile App Users: Update Attendance via attendance updates (after downtime ends)
- Biometric Users: You can continue punching in and out through the biometric device. We will sync the logs to sumHR once downtime ends.
Thank you for your constant Support and we’ll continue striving hard to make your HR activities successful and on time.
Regards,
Jay Thaker
